Is it sad that I go to my own myspace profile to listen to the playlist? I can't say for sure, but I do know that I have the world's coolest playlist on my myspace profile. No, there's no room for debate. It's amazing. And eclectic. Current fave: "Lemonade."
I found out that Becca is going to be back in San Diego before I leave! I'm very, very happy about that. If she'd been stuck in Yuma, it might have come to me driving out there just to say goodbye, because I'm not sure she'll be here when I get back. (As an aside, can you believe it, man? Almost five years... almost gone. Freedom is waiting, just a few more short months away.)
We started doing TMO paperwork today. (TMO are the people who pack up our stuff and store it when we're gone.) And pickup is supposed to be the 29th. That's waaay too close.
I was all excited about the whole world cruise thing. Didn't I join the Marine Corps for the chance to see the world? How things change. At this point, I just want a place to call home.
SO--anybody have any good ideas for my last night in town? I'm thinking Becca and Michael and whoever else wants to come, and some food and some rock band. And some laughter. Because that's what you want on your last night in San Diego.
P.S.--Someone remind me to tell the story of Josh Groban's autograph. It's a pearl.
