Singing vegetables are cool

And don't you forget it. For real, I'm a Veggie Tales fan, not only because of their wholesome message, but because they are random and silly. And you guys know how much I like anything that is random and silly. You don't run into a lot of people who even know who the Veggies are, though, and even less who can sing the show's theme song on cue. Today I discovered that my boss's boss (a very cool guy anyway) is one of the initiated. He came in from running wearing a Larry Boy shirt, and I may have squealed "You have on a Larry Boy shirt!"

And he started to sing, "If you like to talk to tomatoes..."

It was a bright spot in my day.

Oh. I wrote the sonnet in my last post two days ago, about a "chain monkey" (they help secure stuff on the flight deck, and they wear blue shirts) who was dehydrated to the point of not being able to stand up on his own. It was awful to watch. I hate seeing people in pain. He's all right now, after an IV and some rest. But it was still heart-wrenching.
