There are some new pics in the WestPac album, from the ports we visited, and from Al Asad. To get to the album, click the WestPac 2008 link under "Illustrations" in the sidebar. There are also a couple from our "Crossing the Line" ceremony, fondly known in the Navy and Marine Corps as "Wog Day". It's all in good fun, cleansing the ship of slimy "pollywogs" and transforming them into "trusty shellbacks". We got dirty!
I'm in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia at the moment. It is fantastically beautiful here. I mean, I could live here. The weather was gorgeous today, and is supposed to remain so for the weekend, and I am so excited about seeing the city. The pictures you have seen don't do it justice, I guarantee it.
Less than thirty days until I'm back in San Diego!
