Ahhh...

The Ichetucknee River is as beautiful as ever. Here are some photos from today's kayaking trip.

...Unspoiled......Alone and unafraid......Chill...

The four mile jaunt down the river only took about an hour and fifteen minutes, unlike the tubing trip which can take up to four hours or so. We overestimated how long we'd be on the water, but it was still really fabulous. It's the off season, so there were maybe 20 or 30 other folks on the river today. It was beautiful out, and... Oh, I love unspoiled Florida. My heart is somewhere out in those cypress and oak woods and wetlands.

I forgot! Last night at the Goonies screening, I saw a guy wearing a shirt that said simply "NERD" across the chest. I thought it was brilliant. You could get a job based on that kind of clothing.

And now I have to frame two half-sheets of newsprint. It's going to be amazing.
