Dust. And more dust. They're telling us it's blowing from as far north as Syria, which means that the entire region has been covered in 1500' of dust for three weeks. Man, I didn't miss this place during the summer. Or during the winter, either, but summer is a hundred times worse. Dust every day, dropping flights because you can't see more than half a mile, tawny powder in everything: food, clothes, mouth, ears, nose...
We've been waiting to pull into port for a couple of days now. It's so irritating, every day to wake up expecting to pull in, and then being told sometime in the afternoon that we're headed back out to sea and we're working because there's nothing better to do. Grr.
When there's less boring stuff to tell you, I'll post again. And maybe get some pics from Singapore up. Sometime. I promise.

Can't wait til you finally pull in. Sorry about all the dust - I'll see what I can do to get that taken care of for you.
Shouldn't be a problem. I know a guy who knows a guy.
